A couple of counterfeiters from Hertfordshire swindled numerous business owners out of millions of pounds by offering them costly phone systems advancements when not necessary. Daniel Cullen and Daniel Buttle pretended to be employed by a department of BT and told naive customers that they required to switch from analogue to digital. The pair told lies and said schools and small enterprises would receive the aid of government grants or loans and could get big rebates- none of which was accurate.
